Demi Chef de Partie Ibis Mumbai BKC

The Demi Chef is responsible for the daytodayoperation of their designated station. The Demi Chef is the firstpoint of contact for Commis Chefs and supports the Chef de Partiein managing the station.
Duties andResponsibilities
- Prepareseason and cook food following special dietary instructions whererequired.
- Follow recipes and presentationspecifications.
- Provide direction to CommisChefs.
- Help in Menucreation.
- Operate standard kitchen equipmentsafely and efficiently.
- Ensure that stationopening and closing procedures are carried out tostandard.
- Clean and maintain station andoverall kitchen through practicing good safety andsanitation.
- Adhere to all sanitation and foodproduction procedures and codes.
- Assist withthe enforcement of Health & Safetyprotocols.
- Assist withordering.
- Work within budgetedguidelines.
Qualifications :
- Proven experienceas a Demi Chef de Partie or equivalentrole.
- Culinary degree ordiploma preferred.
- Strong knowledge ofvarious cuisines cooking techniques and international culinarytrends.
- Excellent leadership communication andinterpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in afastpaced environment and handle pressure with grace andprofessionalism.
- Flexibility to work eveningsweekends and holidays as required.
- Knowledge ofHACCP and food safety standards.
- Passion forculinary excellence and a commitment to continuous learning anddevelopment.
- Prior Experience of Pre Openingwill be addedAdvantage
