The Opportunity:

The Opportunity:

As an Assistant Manager- Accounts Receivable you will handle Customer/Distributors and responsible for end to end account reconciliation. Monitoring Credit block release based on payments and outstanding. You will also be responsible for resolution of disputed payment/invoice issues with customers.

Responsible for reaching out to customers for Account Reconciliation, payment issues, invoice details against unadjusted payments based on information received from Customer. Acts as the liaison between Company and customers and manage overdue accounts.

What we're looking for:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Experience: At least 8+ years of trade collection experience.

How you'll thrive and create an impact:

1) Analysis of Accounts receivables like AR Ageing, Past dues performance of different business units in Avantor India, Review of bad debts and proposing write-off to Sr. Management, Tracking P&L performance w.r.t bad debts provisions of given business units and tracking monthly DSO performance of each business to maximize cash flow.

2) Adhere to AR policies and collections strategies to achieve collection efficiency.

3) Engaging in problem solving exercises and fixing root cause problems related to AR ageing and fixing recurring issues.

4) Working closely with Commercial Team in reviewing existing Payment terms and Credit Limit requests and then working closely with Global Risk Team on implementation of Payment Terms & Credit limit by sharing business justification.

5) Sharing monthly forecast with Business Leaders on expected collections.

6) Identify Root cause and analyse all payments related disputes with identification of corrective measures and managing stakeholders/customer escalations.

7) Participate in the new pilot projects &initiatives w.r.t AR.

8) Coordination with Third Party collections agency for better Cash Flow.

9) Tracking and working closely with GBC on unapplied allocated payments lying in Suspense GL on monthly basis.

10) Responsible for liasoning with Legal departments for Disputed customers.

11) Responsible to Perform Quarterly review of Channel Partners Agreement w.r.t to alignment of Payment terms vs SAP

12) Responsible for Preparation and timely submission of AR Audit schedules.
