Area Sales Manager


Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time Area Sales Manager for one of our leading NBFC clients in Chennai. This role involves leading sales initiatives and collaborating with a talented team to achieve strategic goals. You will be responsible for driving sales strategies, managing a network of dealers and partners, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly in team management and direct sales.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Home Loan and LAP (Loan Against Property).
  • Extensive experience in direct sales, with a deep understanding of the end-to-end sales cycle.
  • Strong team management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and guide a sales team to exceed targets.
  • Expertise in managing and expanding networks of dealers, direct selling agents (DSAs), and partners.
  • Ability to build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders to optimize sales performance.
  • Proficient in analyzing sales data and making data-driven decisions to enhance performance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Knowledge of sales compliance and ability to ensure ethical practices in daily operations.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales volume and enhance market presence.
  • Identify, recruit, and manage dealers, direct selling agents (DSAs), and partners to support sales objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns.
  • Implement sales processes and ensure adherence to company quality standards and compliance.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budget reports, and performance updates to senior management.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships and addressing any issues promptly.
