Job Description

Responsibilities

New Product Introductions and product market launches Secure product ramp-up according to business case plan [sales revenue and volume] Define measures to win business Develop Product Competence for sales Consolidate market / customer demands and competitor analysis (market intelligence) Product Phase -IN/Phase-Out management. Coordination with Plant for local product launch/ramp up/ plan

Tasks

Collect information from the local market for Product Management as base for product portfolio development

Collect local market needs and requirements Collect customer feedback about existing products Conduct local market and competitor analysis Observe future developments and trends in market (customer, competitor, technology,…) Get confirmation from Sales/Application on sales figures for business case calculation and pilot customer selection 

Drive / Enable Sales

Adjust and translate sales and product information to local market specifics and behavior Local price positioning Organize Training/ Promotion for Sales, Application team Support workshops, promotion / trainings for customers Support local exhibition (Customer events, technical fairs) and trade shows Promotor for Sales Increasing Actions and sales campaigns (Steer) address required measures to local marketing and provide the necessary information Drive cross-Business Unit product exchange in the direction of solutions/systems and automation platforms Inform sales about argumentation towards customers for supporting Phase-Out/Phase-In incl. enable ramp-up curve Input on local specific assortment / lead time requirements to support assortment management Drive launch of new products, nurture and develop.

Competences

Product knowledge and application know how of External Gear Pumps and Motors Market and Industry sector experience Advanced Business competencies Understanding competitor, partner and customer eco-systems Overview on Legal/ Contract Management. Quality Systems. Overview & hands-on experience of ERP/SAP system use. 

Qualifications

(Mechanical) or (Mechanical) with 2-6 years of relevant experience in Product Management for External Gear Pumps and Motors 

Entrepreneurial mindset to gather market needs, business opportunities and customer requirements for new products Analytical and conceptual capabilities Presentation skills | Communication skills | Conflict Management Experience in sales is preferable
