Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow HRSD Portal Developer to design, develop, and enhance our HR portal within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, and experience in building intuitive and engaging user interfaces that improve the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Portal Development & Customization:
    • Design, develop, and implement the HR portal on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for employees.
    • Customize and configure the HRSD portal, including creating custom widgets, pages, and themes to meet business requirements.
    • Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and cross-browser-compatible user interfaces.
  • User Experience & Design:
    • Collaborate with HR teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive portal designs.
    • Apply best practices in UX/UI design to create an engaging and easy-to-navigate portal that enhances the employee experience.
    • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the portal's usability and functionality.
  • Integration & Automation:
    • Integrate the HR portal with other ServiceNow modules (e.g., HR Case Management, Knowledge Management) and third-party systems to provide a unified HR service delivery experience.
    • Implement automated workflows and self-service options within the portal to streamline HR processes and reduce manual effort.
    • Ensure seamless data flow and interaction between the HR portal and other systems through API integrations.
  • Maintenance & Support:
    • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the HRSD portal, including troubleshooting issues, applying patches, and upgrading features as needed.
    • Monitor the portal's performance and optimize load times and responsiveness to ensure a smooth user experience.
    • Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow releases, features, and best practices to continuously enhance the HR portal.
  • Documentation & Training:
    • Create and maintain detailed documentation for portal configurations, customizations, and integrations.
    • Provide training and support to HR teams and end-users on how to effectively use the HR portal.
    • Develop user guides, FAQs, and other resources to assist employees in navigating the portal.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.
    • Relevant certifications in ServiceNow (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer) are preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on portal and user interface development.
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow HRSD or other ServiceNow modules.
    • Proven experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow portals, including widget development and page design.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, and Bootstrap.
    • Strong understanding of ServiceNow's platform architecture, including the Service Portal framework.
    • Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
