As a Senior Copywriter, you will be a part of the Target Creative team that shapes the enterprise presence of Target in India.
You’ll develop innovative and effective marketing that builds brand equity for our brand in India. Specifically, you’ll use your skills, experience and talents to create content for compelling narratives – driving creative projects from initial concept to launch, while crafting campaigns, opening films, internal brand narratives written in a Target brand voice that’s clear, concise and brand right. You’ll be challenged to merge culture and strategy insights with creative best practices, personal experience and instinct, while staying up to date on emerging trends, innovations and advancements in the retail industry—especially in relation to communicating it to the teams in India. You’ll also be empowered to adapt to competing demands and shifting priorities, while ensuring the accuracy of your own copy. In this position, you’ll ultimately champion the organization’s purpose, values and direction, while supporting Target Creative’s strategies, goals and objectives. You’ll seek creative solutions to overcome obstacles. You’ll co-create and deliver copy while taking your stakeholders along in everything you do. And you’ll be tasked to promote sharing of expertise and continuous learning across the organization.We’ll support you along the way with individualized onboarding, as well as personal and career development to help you grow as a strong Senior Copywriter. About you:
• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of advertising and campaign copywriting experience
• Deep knowledge of retail marketing best practices
• Ability to tailor your writing to a specific brand voice and work quickly to meet deadlines
• Skilled in managing and executing complex projects/clients at many different stages
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Portfolio of samples showcasing creative work
