Overview:As a Safety Officer you will beresponsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment forall employees in compliance with relevant safety regulations andcompany policies. Your role will involve implementing safetyprograms conducting inspections providing safety training andinvestigating incidents to prevent futureoccurrences.

MainResponsibilities:

  • Developand implement safety policies and procedures in compliance withlocal regulations and internationalstandards.
  • Conduct regularinspections of the workplace to identify and eliminate potentialhazards.
  • Perform risk assessments toidentify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigatethem.
  • Develop and deliver safetytraining programs for employees including training on properequipment usage emergency procedures and hazardrecognition.
  • Investigate workplaceincidents and accidents to determine root causes and developcorrective actions to preventrecurrence.
  • Maintain accuraterecords of safety inspections training sessions and incidentreports.
  • Develop and implementemergency response plans and procedures to ensure employees areprepared for emergencies such as fires chemical spills or naturaldisasters.
  • Stay current withdevelopments in safety regulations and best practices to ensurecompliance and continuousimprovement.
  • Communicatesafetyrelated information to all levels of the organizationincluding management supervisors andemployees.
  • Participate in safetycommittees or meetings to discuss safety concerns initiatives andimprovements.

Requirements
  • Bachelorsdegree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental ScienceEngineering or relatedfield.
  • Minimum of 4 years ofexperience in a similar role preferably in an industrial orconstruction setting.
  • Certificationin Occupational Health and Safety (e.g. NEBOSH OSHAIOSH).
  • Strong knowledge of safetyregulations and standards particularly in SaudiArabia.
  • Experience conducting riskassessments and implementing safetyprograms.
  • Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills.
  • Ability towork independently and as part of ateam.
  • Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice Suite and other relevantsoftware.
  • Risk assessment and hazardidentification.
  • Safety trainingdevelopment and delivery.
  • Incidentinvestigation and root causeanalysis.
  • Emergency responseplanning andimplementation.
  • Recordkeeping anddocumentation.
  • Communication andinterpersonal skills.

  • Ability to prioritizetasks and manage timeeffectively.
