We are looking for a Vice President, IT Infrastructure to join our IT leadership team in Bangalore, India, reporting to the Chief Information Officer who is based in Santa Clara, CA. In this role, you will be a key member of the Infoblox IT leadership team and provide the vision and leadership for enterprise LAN/WAN data network, server infrastructure, storage systems, vendor telecommunication systems, data centers, and Global Service Desk Operations. This includes service catalog, endpoint procurement, asset compliance, hire-to-retire workflow process, measurements, and metrics. You will effectively lead and meet business objectives in a highly global, collaborative, and high-performance work environment and bring IT infrastructure expertise and contribution to our Product, Security, Engineering, QA, and delivery teams. You are the ideal candidate if you are passionate about infrastructure and desktop operations and have a deep technical curiosity to solve problems and build high-performing teams. You are a strategic thinker with a hands-on, collaborative style and are passionate about developing and implementing strategy. Define, own, and execute against a multi-year infrastructure strategy that supports company objectives and includes measurable key performance indicators focused on improving productivity and scale Align quarterly goals with long-term strategy and make our infrastructure roadmap transparent across the company Develop architectural strategy to ensure a consistent focus on increasing automation and orchestration of manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce technical debt and overhead Own the designing, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs, data centers, cloud, telecom, Internet, intranet, security, disaster recovery, and Global Service Desk Operations Lead, mentor, inspire, and develop a high-performing diverse team of IT professionals responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of IT infrastructure Foster and further develop the Infrastructure team culture of trusted cross-functional partnership, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement Direct, lead, and manage the portfolio of infrastructure initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure so that projects and programs are delivered on-time and on budget with high quality Closely manage the fiscal budget associated with Enterprise Applications in partnership with FP&A Define IT infrastructure strategy and standards to ensure 24/7 operations that exceed service level agreements Recruit, develop, and retain an excellent IT staff to enable exceptional member experience through technology delivery Partner with the security function to ensure compliance standards and processes are met Own the Infrastructure portfolio and ensure that service delivery is feasible, timely, cost-effective, secure, compliant, and high-quality Develop, support, implement, and enforce policies, procedures, and guidelines, such as SOC, GDPR, SOX, and DR/BCP 20+ years of experience in information technology, with 10+ years of experience leading and managing a global IT organization or infrastructure group in a high-technology company Demonstrated international support experience, including U.S. and India locations Track record of building and leading high-performing teams toward the successful attainment of challenging goals in support of the corporate business strategy with strong results orientation and sense of urgency Ability to promote collaboration, accountability, respect, empowerment, recognition, and provide ongoing coaching to employees Experience with cloud computing, SaaS, and other forms of service-based computing models Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and develop global infrastructure organization in collaboration with overall IT strategy Successful career progression in complex organizations, such as multiple data centers, networks, and applications Demonstrated strength in contract negotiations, vendor management, and capacity planning in a fast-growth environment Knowledgeable in compliance and information security Excellent team management, coaching, and mentoring skills Metric gathering and analysis skills and the ability to effectively summarize and present key trends as desired Experience building and supporting infrastructure that continually passes security certifications, including SOX, SOC, ISO and PCI. FedRAMP a major plus Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred What success looks like: After six months, you will… Develop and/or modify the existing strategy and roadmaps as required Have implemented a 30-60-90 day plan to drive teams globally and identify focus areas Understand the budget, metrics, and process in their current states and make any needed adjustments based on strategy After about a year, you will… Build out any team members and capabilities required to drive outcomes Define and make progress on any changes required to achieve a world-class operation Understand and participate in forming the following year’s strategy, budget, and operating plan for the team We’ve got you covered:
