Fraud Risk Product team keeps JPMorgan Chase and its customers strong and resilient by developing and maintaining world class fraud detection and prevention strategies while providing exceptional customer experience. Fraud Risk Business Analyst interact with business and technology teams to understand business critical fraud risk challenges and transform them into high quality requirements used to drive our technology solutions.

As a Fraud Risk Business Analyst you'll shape the technology solutions that drive our strategic Fraud Risk initiatives. Working at the intersection of business and technology you'll interact with colleagues in various lines of businesses to learn about challenges and opportunities, transform that knowledge into high quality technical requirements, and coordinate with technical delivery teams to ensure solutions meet all requirements while providing exceptional business and customer experience. 

In addition to working with the development teams to create new solutions, you'll help optimize existing technology and identify new capabilities. While your role requires both business and technical skills including expertise in everything from data management to functional design, it also hinges on teamwork and leadership. You'll offer clear guidance and feedback to your colleagues, product teams, and technology resources to ensure highest quality deliverables, processes, and experiences while promoting the values, culture, and brand of JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Job responsibilities

Understanding of business needs, including how data is used and managed Demonstrate Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals Demonstrate ability to understand complex business requirements, dependencies, and relationships, and concisely transform that understanding into documented business requirements our technical teams can use to design and build solutions'. Prepare ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ workflows, identify high level gaps & differences and create technical stories Serve as the primary liaison between the Business, Architecture, Development, and Testing teams Creating Technical Process Flows: Data Flow Diagrams, swim-lane diagrams and Sequence diagrams Work closely with the technology and User Acceptance Testing teams to ensure all identified scenarios are properly captured, tested, and validated

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience Minimum 4 years of BA experience in large organization Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and analytical skills Understanding of the web services and rest APIs Sound knowledge of tools like Confluence, JIRA, Visio Excellent data querying and analysis skills using SQL Experience in Service Oriented Design and Technology (Rest APIs, Micro Services, Kafka, Webservices, MQ messaging) Ability to liaison between lines of business and development teams, translating strategic goals into technology solutions, and vice versa

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning Prior experience in financial / banking institutions with fraud risk knowledge is a plus
