KeyResponsibilities:

 

PeopleManagement

 

  • Respondto customer queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficientmanner to ensure customersatisfaction.
  • Ensure toattend to guest complaints requests or inquiries regarding the foodand services.
  • Establish and maintain seamlesscoordination & cooperation with all departments of IbisChennai City Centre to ensure maximum cooperation productivitymorale and guestservice.

 

FinancialManagement

 

  • Identifyoptimal costeffective use of the resources and educate the team onthesame.

 

OperationalManagement

 

  • Responsiblefor set up of all operating equipments and ensure to inspect linenand condiments before the service.
  • Ensure to befamiliar with all dishes on the menu.
  • Ensureclearance of all soiled chinaware glassware silverware from theguest table and reset the table for the nextarrival
  • In the absence of the Food &Beverage Team Leader ensure to takeguest orders advice guests on specials menuoptions.
  • Ensure to be familiar with theproperty lay out fire exits and elevatorlocations.
  • Report any equipment malfunctionemergency situations or suspicious persons to the Food &Beverage TeamLeader.
  • Ensure that breakage pilferage andspoilage are kept to a bareminimum.

 

 

Hygiene/ Personal safety /Environment:

 

  •  Ensuresthat the workplace and storage areas remain clean and tidy and thesafety of consumable goods by always respecting HACCPregulations
  • Respects the instructions andsafety guidelines for the equipment (s)heuses
  • Applies the hotels security regulations(in case of fire etc)
  • Respects the hotelscommitments to the Environment Charter (saving energy recyclingsorting waste etc) and meets Ibis ISO 14001 environmentalcommitments as applicable to the role if the hotel is involved intheprogramme.
