Job Profile-: Civil Engineer Job Description:

We seek a highly motivated and skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Civil Engineer at JEW, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of construction projects. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful completion of projects while adhering to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Design: Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other professionals to develop comprehensive project plans and designs.

Permitting and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained and that projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment required for construction projects.

Site Assessment: Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate conditions, identify potential challenges, and develop solutions.

Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to meet the highest construction standards.

Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery.

Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues affecting project progress and quality.

Vendor and Contractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to procure materials and services required for construction.

Safety and Compliance: Prioritize safety on construction sites and enforce adherence to safety protocols and regulations.

Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and records.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

Years of experience in civil engineering and construction.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.

Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.

Excellent project management and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Familiarity with construction safety regulations and best practices.
