Role Description The Store Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Vapi, responsible for supporting daily store operations and delivering a positive customer experience. This role includes greeting and assisting customers, handling basic inquiries, and guiding customers toward suitable products. The Store Assistant helps maintain store cleanliness, organizes shelves and displays, and monitors stock levels to ensure products are available and correctly labeled. Additional responsibilities may include processing sales transactions, supporting inventory checks, assisting with product training or demonstrations, and collaborating with the store team to meet sales and service goals. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact clearly and professionally with customers and team members.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service and Retail Sales skills to handle inquiries, support purchase decisions, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Candidates should possess Organization Skills to manage merchandise, maintain orderly displays, and support smooth store operations.
• Candidates should possess Training skills to assist in onboarding new team members or guiding customers on product use when needed.
• Basic math skills and comfort with handling cash or point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as lifting or moving stock.
• Prior experience in retail or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and follow store policies and procedures.
