Role & Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python. Build and optimize RESTful APIs / FastAPI / Django / Flask applications. Work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Scientists, Frontend Developers, Product Managers). Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices. Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-based deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure). Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance and security. Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions and design decisions. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of professional experience in Python development. Strong expertise in Python 3.x and frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Proficiency in SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, Redis). Hands-on experience with API development, microservices, and integration. Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred). Experience with unit testing (pytest/unittest), version control (Git), and Agile methodologies. Good to Have Exposure to front-end frameworks (React.js, Angular) for full-stack development. Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Experience with big data tools (Spark, Dask).
