Job Role/Position: QA Engineer Playwright / Cypress Industry - IT Services Function - Quality Assurance (QA) Work Location - Pune, Chennai Qualifications:- Graduation Required Work Experience:- 5-7 years Salary Range: INR 9-12 Lakhs/Year Age Limit - 35 years Required Skills:- Automation, Testing, Playwright, Cypress, Scripting About the Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong expertise in front-end automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Playwright or Cypress to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient test coverage. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright or Cypress. Create, execute, and manage automated test scripts for front-end web applications. Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure test coverage and quality standards. Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through the development lifecycle. Contribute to the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) process for automated testing. Analyze test results and report on overall software quality. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and performance. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing with a focus on front-end automation. Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Cypress. Proficiency in creating, maintaining, and executing automation frameworks. Good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and UI/UX testing concepts. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on front-end automation. Hands-on expertise in Playwright and/or Cypress for web application automation. Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks. Experience in creating, executing, and managing automated test scripts for UI/UX testing. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience in code reviews and contributing to testability and performance improvements.
