Engineers and scientists at JFWTC have contributed to hundreds of aviation patents, pioneering breakthroughs in engine technologies, advanced materials, and additive manufacturing. Roles and responsibilities Model and analyze systems: Develop and validate models for aircraft power distribution, hybrid electric propulsion, and more‑electric propulsion. Design power converters: Architect and build advanced converters and high‑frequency resonant topologies for aerospace applications. Implement controls in hardware: Deploy control algorithms on FPGA/microcontrollers; transition designs from simulation to hardware. Ensure compliance and robustness: Design for EMI/EMC, thermal, and packaging constraints suitable for aerospace environments. Prototype and test: Lead PCB/hardware builds; execute test plans across model‑in‑the‑loop, HIL, and bench/rig validation (Opal‑RT/RT Box/dSPACE). Communicate and deliver: Present findings to stakeholders; drive projects to meet scope, quality, and schedule in cross‑functional teams.
