Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Optimization Engineer with expertise in power plant performance calculations, Machine Learning, and Control systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in thermal and combined cycle power plant analysis, diagnostics, and optimization, along with proficiency in Ovation Control Systems and third-party communication protocols such as OPC DA and OPC UA. This role involves designing and implementing intelligent strategies to enhance the performance, efficiency, and reliability of power plants and industrial processes.If you think this role suits you, join our team and apply nowIn this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Design Engineering, implementation and commissioning for Ovation Performance Optimization, OIF plugin Program for Advanced Power Application.Participate in Pre-Factory Acceptance Test and Factory Acceptance Test in India or at any overseas location. Visit site for commissioning software, if required.Data-Driven Process Optimization & Performance Enhancement - Analyze critical operational data to identify growth opportunities, drive efficiency, and collaborate with plant teams to ensure a future-ready power plant.Design and implement Machine Learning with expertise in neural networks and pattern recognition using Python with Solid understanding of neural networks, deep learning, and pattern recognition techniques.Develop and maintain OPC DA interfaces for real-time data exchange between control systems and enterprise applications. Integrate third-party DCS platforms with SCADA, MES, and historian systems.Configure and troubleshoot communication protocols such OPC UA/DA. Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using Python, SQL, and industrial data historians.Design dashboards and reports to visualize process KPIs and support decision-making. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and IT teams to ensure seamless data integration, system reliability, and real-time visibility into process performance.Review project specifications to ensure alignment with technical and operational requirements.Document detailed technical specifications, integration workflows, and support procedures to guide implementation and ensure system reliability and maintainabilityWho are you We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer with deep expertise in power plant performance diagnostics and optimization.
