So, ask us about some of our recent pledges for Women's Equality and being a 'Disability Confident' and 'Inclusive Employer'.Candidate should have:A strong academic background with bachelor's degree in civil engineering plus master's degree in Tunnel Engineering, P.hD., or equivalent.Ability to lead project teams.Deliver projects.With 22+ years of relevant design experience in a consulting environment.Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent) within a relevant professional association.Excellent interpersonal and technical skills.Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with international clients.Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work.Conversant with tunnelling analysis software like Rocscience suite, Plaxis, FLAC, Phase2 etc.A willingness to travel on short term/long term assignments to UK and overseas. Desirable Requirements:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering plus master's degree in Tunnel Engineering, P.hD., or equivalent is preferred.Structural engineering codes and standards experience is preferred.Strong understanding of Engineering Geology and Tunnel design and Construction Methods.Numerical modelling software experience for design of excavations and/or concrete structures is preferred.Sufficient post-graduation experience, with a significant proportion gained with an engineering design company undertaking the design of tunnels or related infrastructure in Soft Ground and Hard Ground.
