About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager with a proven track record in the furniture and building materials industry to drive business growth and build long-term relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing relationships, and leading sales efforts in designated regions: Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the furniture and building materials sector.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while expanding the customer base.
Regularly meet with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs and offer appropriate solutions.
Product Knowledge & Strategy:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and industry trends in furniture and building materials to offer expert advice to clients.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and product launches.
Customer Relationship Management:
Provide outstanding customer service, resolving issues quickly and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Conduct regular follow-ups and account management to ensure clients are fully satisfied and continue to place orders.
Sales Reporting:
Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to senior management.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Coordinate with the supply chain, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Provide market insights and feedback to improve product offerings and overall sales performance.
Key Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the furniture and building materials industry.
Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
Experience in handling large accounts and managing long sales cycles.
Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
