Role Profile We are looking for a seasoned SRE professional to serve as Technical Lead - Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) for the Digital Identity and Fraud (DI&F) product suite within the Risk Intelligence business. This role is based in Bangalore, India, and will be responsible for driving deep technical execution across reliability engineering, automation, observability, and cloud-native operations. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in SRE practices, cloud infrastructure, and platform reliability, with a strong focus on engineering excellence and operational rigor. This role will work closely with engineering, product, and platform teams to ensure DI&F services are resilient, scalable, and secure. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Execution Implement reliability solutions across DI&F platforms including EPIC, WorldView, and onboarding services. Define and enforce SRE standards including SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and reliability scorecards. Lead technical deep-dives during major incidents and post-incident reviews; drive root cause analysis and remediation. Build and maintain automation for incident response, infrastructure provisioning, compliance, and release validation. Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines with integrated security, quality gates, and deployment automation. Implement observability frameworks using tools like Datadog, OpenTelemetry, and BigPanda. Drive adoption of infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and GitHub Actions. Collaborate with platform teams to evolve cloud architecture on Azure and AWS. Integrate and manage API Gateway (Kong) and data platform (Snowflake) components within reliability workflows. Operational Excellence Apply ITIL practices across incident, problem, change, and service request management. Use ServiceNow for ITSM workflows, automation, and reporting. Ensure DR readiness, runbook completeness, and operational resilience. Monitor and improve system performance, availability, and cost efficiency. Maintain high standards of security, compliance, and audit readiness. Collaboration & Mentorship Partner with engineering leads, product managers, and platform architects to embed reliability into product delivery. Mentor junior SREs and engineers on technical best practices, tooling, and incident handling. Contribute to technical knowledge sharing and documentation. Support global SRE initiatives and cross-regional collaboration. Person Specification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience. Required Skills and Experience 8+ years in SRE, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles, with deep technical expertise. Strong experience with Azure and AWS cloud services. Proficiency in:Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins Datadog, OpenTelemetry, BigPanda Kong API Gateway, Snowflake, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB Strong understanding of SRE principles and operational metrics. Experience with ServiceNow and ITIL-aligned service management. Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills. Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash). Ability to lead technical discussions and influence architecture decisions. Personal Attributes Technically curious and detail-oriented.
