We're seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Python & Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data domain team. You'll work on unique, one-of-a-kind problem statements using advanced GenAI, large language models (LLMs), and modern data engineering frameworks. You will help conceptualize and deliver impactful solutions that push the boundaries of data science and machine learning in finance. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, test and deploy software Additional features and/or content is released to solution end users. Continued learning through additional trainings and code review sessions. Improved quality and productivity of output. Communicate and collaborate with product developers, direct manager and engineering peers to develop the correct solutions Effective project planning and development of expected solutions. Respond to bugs and requests for product development through internal systems Effective engagement in development and feedback life cycle Participate in design discussions and brainstorming of ideas to improve and develop new features. Gain broader proficiency for the product and demonstrate the ability to contribute to forward direction. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Has repeatedly developed, tested, and deployed high quality, stable changes with success and in a timely manner Should be able to work on the tasks independently as full stack developer. Overall 3+ years experience in software development and delivery. Should be proficient in Python language and should have worked with Python for at least 3 years. Should be proficient in Postgres database querying. Hands-on experience with AWS technologies and terraform script is preferred. Should have very good knowledge of rest APIs and web development frameworks. Working experience with AI/ML libraries and datacentric projects is a plus. Good to have UI development experience with leading js frameworks like Angular.js, Vue.js is a plus Should have good understanding and internal knowledge of Database technologies like SQL Server, PostgreSQL It will be added advantage if the user has experience with Elastic search. Proven ability to adapt to changes in requirements and learn new tools and practices where needed Proven ability to describe FactSet's business, client base, and where their work fits into the bigger picture.
