Job Description Job Summary: As a Software Engineer II, you will be a key member of an agile team focused on enhancing, designing, and delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance software solutions within JPMorgan Chase's Corporate and Investment Bank. You will work on cutting-edge technology products, contributing to the development, optimization, and troubleshooting of various system components. This role provides an opportunity to deepen your technical expertise while building a strong foundation for career growth. Key Responsibilities: - Software Development: Design, develop, and enhance software components using C++, MFC, and SQL to support business-critical applications. - System Optimization: Ensure application stability, performance, and scalability by troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. - Agile Collaboration: Work within an agile development team, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and code reviews. - Security & Compliance: Develop software solutions that adhere to industry best practices and JPMorgan Chase's security and regulatory standards. - Continuous Learning: Enhance your technical skills and knowledge by staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends. Required Qualifications: - 2+ years of hands-on experience in C++, with expertise in MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes) and SQL. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. - Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and application troubleshooting in a distributed environment. - Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative development practices. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
