About the Role:

We're looking for someone who's as passionate about food innovation as they are about quality and compliance. As a Product, Quality & Food Technologist, you'll be at the heart of our product journey — from concept to final label.

This role requires a balance of technical know-how, creativity, and a keen eye for detail. You'll be working across new product development, ensuring food safety standards, managing certifications, and maintaining consistency in everything that carries the Zama name.

What You'll Do:

• Research and develop new food products that align with our brand values — clean, natural, and rooted in Indian tradition.
• Conduct product trials, sensory evaluations, and shelf-life testing for new and existing SKUs.
• Manage labeling, stickering, and packaging content — ensuring all details (ingredients, nutrition facts, batch codes, etc.) are compliant and accurate.
• Work closely with vendors and co-packers for product consistency and adherence to Zama's quality standards.
• Oversee quality control checks — from raw materials to finished goods.
• Prepare and maintain FSSAI documentation, specifications, and audit records.
• Be part of internal and third-party food safety and compliance audits.
• Coordinate certifications (organic, ISO, HACCP, etc.) and ensure timely renewals.
• Keep an eye on market trends, ingredients, and innovations to suggest new ideas for product lines.
• Work alongside the design and marketing teams to bring product concepts to life — from ingredient storytelling to packaging details.

What We're Looking For:

• Degree in Food Technology / Food Science / Microbiology / Biotech.
• 2 –4 years of experience in product development, quality assurance, or food compliance.
• Strong knowledge of FSSAI guidelines, labeling norms, and documentation.
• Prior experience with certification processes (organic, HACCP, ISO) is a plus.
• Good analytical and communication skills with an eye for detail.
• Someone who enjoys working hands-on, multitasking, and collaborating with different teams.
• Passionate about food, curious about ingredients, and genuinely cares about quality.
