Responsibilities

Role:

We are looking for a self-driven, highly versatile Mechatronics Engineer to lead our manufacturing automation initiatives. As the automation engineer, you will take full ownership of designing, building and programming, automated equipment for production line.

This is a hands-on role where you will wear multiple hats—mechanical design, electrical wiring, PLC/robotics programming, and troubleshooting—ensuring seamless automation solutions for our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Build Automation Solutions

• Conceptualize, design, and build custom automated equipment and fixtures.
• Perform both mechanical design (CAD) and electrical design (schematics, wiring layouts).
• Coordinate fabrication of components, assemble systems, and integrate them into the

automation system.

Electrical & Controls Engineering

• Select and integrate sensors, actuators, PLCs, HMIs, and control panels.
• Program PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar) and configure motion control systems.
• Handle electrical wiring, panel building, and commissioning.

Programming & Robotics

• Develop automation software for PLCs, microcontrollers, and robotics.
• Integrate industrial robots (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, or similar) if required.
• Create basic data logging, monitoring, and diagnostic tools for automated systems.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics (preferred), Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or
• related engineering field.

Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, building, and programming automated manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to handle end-to-end automation projects independently (mechanical, electrical, and
• software).
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) for mechanical design.
• Knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar).
• Familiarity with sensors, actuators, pneumatics, and motor control systems.
• Basic robotics integration and industrial communication protocols.
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, and safety standards.
• Basic programming skills (Python, C/C++, or MATLAB) for automation tasks.

Soft Skills:

• Highly hands-on, resourceful, and independent—able to manage projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to "figure it out."
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
