The Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely dispatch of all customer orders including website, aggregator platforms, and corporate clients. This position requires excellent coordination skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage logistics efficiently while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and schedule daily order dispatches across multiple channels — website, B2B, and delivery partners.
  • Coordinate with the production team to confirm stock availability and verify batch numbers and manufacturing dates.
  • Maintain detailed dispatch logs and reconcile physical dispatches with digital order records.
  • Supervise labeling, packaging, and order assembly to ensure brand consistency and FSSAI compliance.
  • Verify product temperature, packaging integrity, and order accuracy before dispatch.
  • Liaise with delivery partners (e.g., Porter, Dunzo, or in-house fleet) for timely pickups and deliveries.
  • Track deliveries in real time, proactively resolving logistical issues such as delays, missing items, or incorrect addresses.
  • Maintain and update daily dispatch registers, batch tracking sheets, and temperature logs.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts team for invoicing, proof of delivery, and dispatch documentation.
  • Prepare and share daily/weekly dispatch performance reports with management.
  • Communicate with customers or the Customer Care team for urgent follow-ups, delivery clarifications, or feedback handling.
  • Support post-delivery communication and assist in coordinating replacements when necessary.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in dispatch coordination, logistics, or warehouse operations — preferably in FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Cold Chain industries.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for tracking dispatches and inventory.
  • Basic understanding of cold chain management and temperature-sensitive product handling.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask effectively, and coordinate seamlessly across internal teams and external partners.
