Role & responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials, reagents, consumables, and equipment.
  • Verify deliveries against purchase orders and report any discrepancies or damages.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Store materials in designated locations with appropriate conditions and labeling.
  • Issue materials to internal teams based on requisitions in a timely manner.
  • Track material movement and consumption for reporting and planning.
  • Coordinate with procurement and scientific teams to align material needs and priorities.
  • Maintain documentation including GRNs, MSDS, and storage logs.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and safety protocols in handling and storing materials.
  • Troubleshoot stock discrepancies or delivery issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Dispose of expired or unusable materials following proper procedures.

Update inventory systems in real-time and generate stock status reports when required.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations, preferably in an R&D, pharmaceutical, or lab-based environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Focus, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of material handling procedures, storage compliance, and documentation.

  • Physical ability to manage storage, labeling, and material movement as needed
