Purchase Associate

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in raising purchase requests and collecting quotations from vendors.
• Support the procurement of lab consumables, chemicals, and office supplies.
• Learn to evaluate vendor options based on pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Help maintain records of incoming and outgoing materials in the store.
• Coordinate with finance and operations teams for invoice processing and documentation.
• Assist with basic vendor communication and follow-ups.
• Participate in the documentation of procurement activities in accordance with SOPs.
• Learn and support international logistics coordination and shipment tracking

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Science, Pharmacy, Commerce, or related field
• Eagerness to learn and grow in supply chain operations
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organisational skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets preferred
• Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment
