We have been partnered with Generation India Foundation (Our Client). It's a non-profit organisation (NGO) focused on youth empowerment with a dual mission to empower young people to build thriving, sustainable careers and to provide employers the highly skilled, motivated talent they need.

Project Name: The Mentorship Project

Project Background:

Our client provides training for low economic background adults to take up jobs in different vocation training, such as General duty assistants, Food and Beverage, Sewing Machine Operator, Customer Care Executive, Hospital Front Desk executive, Retail sales Executive etc. The attrition and dropout rate of learners during and after training is quite high and through counselling, they wish to reduce that.

Profile of learners getting trained

Total learners in a batch: % male, 50% female)

Average Age: 18-27

Duration of the project: 3 months or approx 12 Weeks

Issues Identified for attrition: Family Concerns, Away from Home-town,etc.

Requirement from Counsellor: Should speak Telugu and English.

· To be able to motivate learners to take up the job

· Educate learners about the importance of financial independence

· Help learners to plan out ways to solve their concerns.

· To focus on learners emotional well being

· To identify the challenges faced by the learners enrolled to the course and counsel them accordingly

Sessions Requirement:

· 1 in-person session during the duration of the project and rest via telephonic sessions to be conducted. In a month you are supposed to interact 2 times for 15-20 mins with all the learners.

· To share Reporting progress of learner and document it in tracker/application and attending weekly meeting with our Client

· Attending Internal developmental calls and Supervision Call
