Position Summary:
Redaptive is seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce development, administration, and solution architecture, combined with strong sales and operations acumen. You will be responsible for providing enterprise-level architectural guidance, system optimization strategies, integration support, and leading the adoption of advanced features including AI and automation capabilities. This position will play a pivotal role in shaping our Salesforce ecosystem to drive business growth, operational excellence, and customer success.

*Responsibilities And Duties:
Salesforce Development & Configuration:*

• Design and implement enhancements, customizations and integrations within the Salesforce platform (Apex, Lightning Web Components etc).
• Maintain and optimize existing Salesforce functionalities: troubleshoot defects, perform root‑cause analysis, implement improvements for performance and user experience.
• Build declarative solutions where appropriate (Flows, Survey builder, validation rules) and complement with programmatic solutions for more complex requirements.
• Work across multiple Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud) to support business processes.

*Integration, Data & System Support:***

• Collaborate with other IT/system teams to integrate Salesforce with external systems through REST/SOAP APIs, middleware or ETL tools.
• Support data migrations, data quality improvement, and ensure security/sharing model integrity.
• Participate in version control, deployment processes, and support release activities (e.g., sandbox refresh, tokens, environment setup).

*Business Collaboration & Delivery:***

• Work with product owners, business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, estimate work (user stories/tasks), and deliver features in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Participate in code reviews and quality assurance best practices (unit tests, test coverage, documentation).
• Communicate challenges and impediments effectively, escalate when needed and suggest process improvements.
• Contribute to technical documentation (feature/component lists, design notes) and assist in knowledge transfer within the team.

*Ownership & Continuous Improvement:***

• Take ownership of user stories from development through production deployment and support; monitor performance and propose optimizations.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, development patterns, and emerging features; propose opportunities to adopt new capabilities and improve our platform.
• Operate within established governance, development standards and release management practices, and help refine them.

*Required Abilities And Skills:*

• 5 plus years of experience working with Salesforce Development/Configuration.
• Hands‑on experience in Apex development, Lightning Web Components (LWC) / Aura Components, SOQL/SOSL, triggers and batch/asynchronous processes.
• Strong declarative Salesforce experience (Flows, validation rules, page layouts, etc).
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external services (REST, SOAP) and working with data loads/migration.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture (sharing/security/data model) and best practices around governor limits and performance.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools/processes (version control e.g., Git, Copado, CI/CD pipelines, sandbox/deployment management).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with tools like Jira, GitHub, etc.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, organized and detail oriented; able to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Salesforce Certifications such as Platform Developer I (required)

*Preferred Abilities And Skills:*

• Javascript Developer 1 and Platform Developer II would be preferred.
• Experience with multiple Salesforce clouds, e.g., Experience Cloud, CPQ, Data Cloud.
• Familiarity with AI/ML features in Salesforce (Einstein Analytics/Discovery) or advanced automation.
• Exposure to enterprise integration platforms (MuleSoft, Workato, etc).
• Experience in energy, utilities, sustainability or related industries is a plus.

*Education Requirements:*

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum of 5 plus years of experience in Salesforce development.
