About the Role

We're looking for a technically strong
Embedded/DevOps/Cloud Engineer
who can bridge the gap between embedded systems and modern DevOps infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with
build systems in embedded environments
and understands how to integrate and automate infrastructure and deployment processes for such systems.

This role is part of an ongoing global initiative to modernize the build, deployment, and integration pipelines for embedded product lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain
    CI/CD pipelines
    for embedded and cloud-based systems.
  • Collaborate with firmware and embedded development teams to automate build and test processes.
  • Integrate build tools commonly used in embedded environments (e.g.,
    CMake, Yocto, Make, Bazel, BitBake
    , etc.).
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (preferably
    AWS or Azure
    ) for device testing, integration, and monitoring.
  • Work with containerization tools like
    Docker and Kubernetes
    for scalable build and simulation environments.
  • Troubleshoot build failures and streamline integration between firmware, software, and DevOps processes.
  • Implement and maintain configuration management, secrets management, and monitoring tools.

Technical Skills Required

Core:

  • Experience in
    embedded systems
    development and
    build environments
  • Hands-on knowledge of build tools
    like CMake, Yocto, Make, or equivalent
  • Experience in
    DevOps tools
    — Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
  • Strong knowledge of
    Docker, Kubernetes
    , and container orchestration
  • Cloud expertise
    – AWS / Azure preferred
  • Scripting skills:
    Python, Bash, Shell, or PowerShell
  • Familiarity with Linux-based build systems

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with
    embedded Linux / RTOS
    environments
  • Understanding of
    hardware-software integration
    workflows
  • Familiarity with monitoring stacks like
    Prometheus, Grafana
    , etc.
  • Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in Embedded Systems, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering
  • Prior experience in embedded product development companies will be an asset
