The Store Incharge will be responsible for managing all store operations at the site, including receiving, issuing, and maintaining records of materials, tools, and equipment. The role requires maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring timely material availability for project work, and implementing proper documentation and storage practices as per company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain proper records of receipts, issues, and stock balance of all materials.
  • Ensure all incoming materials are inspected, verified, and entered in the system/register.
  • Maintain daily material issue slips and get them authorized by respective site engineers.
  • Conduct regular stock verification and reconcile with physical stock.
  • Maintain inventory levels to avoid material shortage or overstocking.
  • Coordinate with the Purchase Department and Project Team for timely material requirements.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials.
  • Monitor and control wastage, damages, and pilferage.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly stock and consumption reports.
  • Manage tools, machinery, and returnable items with proper tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and audit requirements in store operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Graduate or Diploma in any discipline (preferably in Stores/Logistics/Engineering).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in store management, preferably in infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Good knowledge of inventory management, stock control systems, and ERP tools.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP, Email).
  • Integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

  • Based at project/site location.
  • May require coordination with multiple departments and vendors.
  • Must ensure proper housekeeping and safety in store area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹40,000.00 per month
