About Hotel Nilax:

Hotel Nilax is a 27-room boutique property located in Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur, dedicated to offering warm hospitality, comfort, and quality service to every guest. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel / General Manager to lead our team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations and sales.

Position: Hotel / General Manager

Experience: Minimum 6 years in the hotel industry, including at least 1 year as a General Manager

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: On-site – Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day hotel operations across all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Sales, and Maintenance).
  • Manage staff schedules, assign duties, and ensure smooth departmental coordination.
  • Ensure all staff are trained, motivated, and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
  • Supervise booking channels, online platforms , MMT, etc.), and room pricing.
  • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and ensure service recovery with professionalism.
  • Control operational costs, inventory, and vendor management.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and local partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the hotel industry.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a General Manager or equivalent leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations software (IDS, eZee, or similar).
  • Proven record of driving revenue, improving service quality, and managing teams.

Education:

UG:

  • BHM in Hotel Management
  • B.A in Hotel Management
  • B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Management
  • Diploma in Hotel Management
  • BHMCT in any specialization
  • Any Graduate with relevant experience

Doctorate (Preferred):

  • Ph.D/Doctorate in Hotel Management
  • M.Phil in Hotel Management

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
