About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Junior Data Scientist with hands-on experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI (GenAI), and core Data Science techniques. As part of our growing AI/ML team, you will contribute to building and enhancing AI-driven solutions that involve text analytics, intelligent automation, generative models, and predictive modeling.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy NLP pipelines for text classification, sentiment analysis, NER, topic modeling, etc.


• Fine-tune and apply Generative AI models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, BERT-based LLMs) for custom use cases like summarization, Q&A, data analysis, etc.


• Clean, preprocess, and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets.


• Build and evaluate predictive models using supervised and unsupervised ML techniques.


• Support the implementation of AI features into product pipelines and APIs.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and domain experts.


• Document experiments, workflows, and model performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.


• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in data science or machine learning roles.


• Strong knowledge and implementation experience in NLP techniques (tokenization, embeddings, transformers).


• Familiarity and experience with LLMs and GenAI frameworks like HuggingFace Transformers, LangChain, OpenAI API, or similar.


• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, spaCy, nltk, TensorFlow or PyTorch.


• Experience with exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and model evaluation.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):


• Experience with LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, or RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation).


• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and tools like Vertex AI or Azure OpenAI.


• Familiarity with vector databases like FAISS, Pinecone, or ChromaDB.


• Previous internships or academic research/projects in NLP or GenAI.
