We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Records Technician to join our team and ensure accurate and efficient management of patient records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, update, and organize patient medical records (both physical and electronic).
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, data privacy, and confidentiality standards.
  • Retrieve patient records for physicians, nurses, and authorized staff as required.
  • Assist in preparing medical reports and summaries for insurance claims and audits.
  • Index and categorize records for easy retrieval and archival purposes.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of medical records and follow up on missing information.
  • Coordinate with various hospital departments for proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Support in statistical and analytical reporting as required by management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma/Degree in Medical Records Technology or equivalent qualification.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a hospital medical records department.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital documentation processes.
  • Proficiency in using Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and Microsoft Office.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
