Project Engineer - Civil
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support civil engineering projects from conception through completion. This role involves technical design work, project coordination, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Engineering
Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and calculations for civil engineering projects including site development, utilities, roadways, and drainage systems. Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies. Perform engineering analysis using industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and relevant design applications.

Project Coordination
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budget management. Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures. Prepare progress reports and technical documentation.

Quality Assurance and Compliance
Ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations, and industry standards. Review contractor submittals and shop drawings. Conduct site inspections and quality control reviews. Maintain project documentation and ensure proper record-keeping.

Client and Stakeholder Interaction
Participate in client meetings and project presentations. Respond to requests for information (RFIs) and change orders. Support business development activities and proposal preparation.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 2-5 years of relevant engineering experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Skills and Competencies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
