Accounts Manager

1. Purpose:
To manage and oversee all accounting and financial functions of the company. The role includes bookkeeping, statutory compliance, salary disbursement, taxation, vendor/customer reconciliations, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely decision support for management.
2. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate books of accounts as per statutory requirements and company policies.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations such as expenses, payments, and receipts.
- Ensure timely billing, GST compliance, TDS deductions, and filing of returns.
- Monitor daily cash flow, bank reconciliations, and petty cash handling across all stores.
- Manage vendor and customer account reconciliations.
- Oversee salary disbursement and statutory compliances payment. (PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, etc.).
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for audits and compliance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports for management.
- Monitor inventory accounting, stock reconciliations, and shrinkage reporting in coordination with the stores and warehouse.
- Implement internal financial controls and ensure adherence to SOPs.
- Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Train and supervise the accounts team to ensure timely and accurate work delivery.
Knowledge Criteria:
Education - B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter
Experience - 6–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail / FMCG sector
Technical Skills - Knowledge of Tally ERP / any ERP system, GST, TDS,
IT Skills - MS Word, MS Excel, Email
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
