Job Purpose: Lead - Business Development (CSD) directs and manages business growth initiatives by analyzing market trends, developing strategic plans, structuring and leading negotiations for deal closure, financial analysis and forecasting, assessing project feasibility and fostering relationships to expand business opportunities and enhance organizational performance through targeted business development activities and strategic partnerships.
ResponsibilitiesPurpose:
We are seeking an experienced Lead of Business Development with 12-15 years of experience in the Real Estate Development industry to join our City-Side Developments team at Adani Airports, Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across the lifecycle of real estate product development across business planning, budgeting, commercial strategy, market research, demand & pricing for hotels, retail, convention centers, offices, etc. Experience with leasing (office and/or retail) and deal closure is ideal.Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe Lead Business Development will :
- Be responsible for planning, feasibility and commercial/financial projections, development progress monitoring, and operationalization.
- Develop business plans, ensuring that projects and product development are aligned with revenue projections in the business plan.
- Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to identify and manage any changes that may arise from construction cost increases, area and product mix evolution or changes in the asset categories like hotels, retail, convention centers, offices, etc.
- Drive the Asset planning and strategy – for retail, convention Centre, hotel, and office for positioning, customer centricity, and financial return and
- Work with the Design and architecture team to ensure the vision for the projects translates to the final product in terms of customer experience, area utilization & efficiencies, and circulation & access.
- Lead market research efforts to constantly update and benchmark commercial parameters with the market.
- Lead marketing planning and efforts from planning, pre-opening to go-to-market and operational ready stages.
- Engage with prospective tenant partners, hotel operators, retail, convention center stakeholders, to ensure leasing timelines are adhered to and any marquee/anchor deals are secured as per timelines agreed with the leadership team
- Achieve departmental and personal development targets and goals.
Education Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- Master of Business Administration in Marketing or Strategy would be ideal.
No specific certifications required, but relevant certifications in real estate leasing and management are advantageous.

- Extensive experience in real estate leasing industry
- Proven track record in leasing and managing retail & office spaces for a large portfolio of 2-4 million square feet or more
- Proficiency in lease negotiations, contract management, and lease administration

- Comprehensive understanding of market trends, industry regulations, and legal aspects of leasing
