About REAP

REAP (Reach Education Action Programme) is a Jesuit social initiative working for the empowerment of underprivileged children, youth, and women through education, skill training, and community development.

We are currently running
Skill Development Programs in Hospitality and Beautician trades
to prepare young women and men for employment opportunities.

Role Overview

We are seeking a
dynamic Mobilizer & Trainer
who will be responsible for:

  1. Mobilization:
    Engaging with communities, schools, and local networks to enroll students for our skill development courses.
  2. Training:
    Conducting basic classes in
    English communication
    and
    Computer literacy
    for trainees enrolled in the Hospitality and Beautician courses.
  3. Support:
    Coordinating with trainers, students, and REAP's program team to ensure smooth functioning of the courses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mobilize youth and women from surrounding communities for skill training courses.
  • Build relationships with local schools, SHGs, community leaders, and NGOs for outreach.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for potential students and parents.
  • Deliver basic English and computer literacy classes to skill development students.
  • Assist in career counseling and placement support activities.
  • Maintain data on mobilization, attendance, and training sessions.
  • Support in organizing events, workshops, and exposure visits for students.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Social Work / Sociology / Education / Humanities or related fields.
  • Experience:
    1–3 years of experience in mobilization, community work, or training.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and networking skills.
  • Ability to engage with communities effectively.
  • Basic teaching skills in English and Computers (MS Office, Internet use).
  • Passion for social development and youth empowerment.
  • Languages:
    Fluency in Hindi, Marathi, and English preferred.
