Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the mechanical design of EV components and assemblies using
    SolidWorks
    and
    AutoCAD
    .
  • Guide the team through the complete product development cycle—from concept to prototyping to production.
  • Develop and review
    3D models
    ,
    2D drawings
    ,
    BOMs
    , and
    tolerance stack-ups
    .
  • Collaborate with electrical, electronics, and testing teams to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Ensure compliance with
    industry standards
    ,
    quality regulations
    , and
    DFM/DFA
    principles.
  • Mentor junior design engineers and provide technical leadership in project planning and execution.
  • Contribute to root-cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts in design and manufacturing.
  • Manage documentation, change control, and engineering release processes.

· Strong grasp of
mechanical design principles

manufacturing processes

· Working knowledge of
electrical systems

.

· Excellent project management and communication skills.
