Job Summary: The Inbound Domestic Operations Executive/Manager will be responsible for managing and executing all domestic travel-related operations. This includes coordinating with suppliers, handling reservations, managing itineraries, ensuring seamless customer experiences, and resolving operational challenges. The role demands a strong understanding of the domestic travel market, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.Key Responsibilities:
  • Itinerary Planning & Execution:
  • Design and execute tailor-made itineraries for domestic travelers based on customer preferences.
  • Coordinate with local suppliers, hotels, and transport companies to ensure smooth operation of tours.
  • Reservations Management:
  • Handle bookings for accommodation, transportation, activities, and other travel services.
  • Ensure all bookings are accurately confirmed and documented in the system.
  • Supplier Coordination:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic suppliers.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality services.
  • Customer Support:
  • Provide pre-trip and on-trip assistance to customers, addressing any issues or special requests.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers during their travel.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Monitor the quality of services provided by suppliers and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to continually improve service delivery.
  • Problem Solving:
  • Resolve any operational issues that may arise during the travel process, ensuring minimal disruption to the customer's experience.
  • Handle customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of all bookings, communications, and transactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on operations, supplier performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the domestic travel industry.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the travel industry, with a focus on inbound domestic operations.
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end travel operations.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of domestic travel destinations, suppliers, and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in travel management software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, if necessary.
  • Willingness to travel domestically for supplier meetings and site inspections.
