Job Summary: The Inbound Domestic Operations Executive/Manager will be responsible for managing and executing all domestic travel-related operations. This includes coordinating with suppliers, handling reservations, managing itineraries, ensuring seamless customer experiences, and resolving operational challenges. The role demands a strong understanding of the domestic travel market, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.Key Responsibilities:
- Itinerary Planning & Execution:
- Design and execute tailor-made itineraries for domestic travelers based on customer preferences.
- Coordinate with local suppliers, hotels, and transport companies to ensure smooth operation of tours.
- Reservations Management:
- Handle bookings for accommodation, transportation, activities, and other travel services.
- Ensure all bookings are accurately confirmed and documented in the system.
- Supplier Coordination:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic suppliers.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality services.
- Customer Support:
- Provide pre-trip and on-trip assistance to customers, addressing any issues or special requests.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers during their travel.
- Quality Assurance:
- Monitor the quality of services provided by suppliers and take corrective action when necessary.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to continually improve service delivery.
- Problem Solving:
- Resolve any operational issues that may arise during the travel process, ensuring minimal disruption to the customer's experience.
- Handle customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of all bookings, communications, and transactions.
- Prepare regular reports on operations, supplier performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Compliance:
- Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the domestic travel industry.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the travel industry, with a focus on inbound domestic operations.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end travel operations.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of domestic travel destinations, suppliers, and market trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in travel management software and tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, if necessary.
- Willingness to travel domestically for supplier meetings and site inspections.
