Continental Demi Chef de Partie -
Position Overview:
Kish Hospitality Consultant is currently hiring for a Continental Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP), The DCDP will be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of continental dishes, ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook continental dishes according to the menu specifications and recipes.
Take charge of a particular section within the kitchen, overseeing the preparation and delivery of food items.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other team members to develop new menu items and specials.
Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in the kitchen area.
Train and supervise junior chefs and kitchen staff to maintain a smooth operation.
Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain an adequate inventory.
Follow and implement proper food safety procedures and practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Continental Demi Chef de Partie or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of continental cuisine and cooking techniques.
Must have excellent culinary skills, including food presentation and garnishing.
Strong leadership abilities and the ability to work well in a team.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
