Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet the hotel's standards of cleanliness and presentation. The role involves supervising housekeeping staff, conducting inspections, and ensuring efficient workflow and high guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping attendants and public area cleaners.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
• Assign daily room and cleaning duties to the team and monitor progress throughout the day.
• Ensure all housekeeping supplies and equipment are well-stocked and in good working condition.
• Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain high performance and productivity levels.
• Address guest requests, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of room occupancy, linen usage, and staff attendance.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance departments for room readiness and repair needs.
• Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Conduct daily briefings with staff and report performance or disciplinary issues to the Executive Housekeeper.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role (preferably in a hotel or resort).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Eye for detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work under pressure.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, PMS experience preferred).
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
