Require a Civil Engineer in Bengaluru

- Design, analyze, and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
- Conduct stress, thermal, and fatigue analysis using FEA and simulation tools to validate designs.
- Lead the prototyping and testing phases, ensuring designs meet performance, durability, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, bills of materials (BOM), and assembly instructions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during production and field operations.
- Stay current with industry standards, emerging technologies, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, ASME, API).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and reduce lifecycle costs.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the engineering department.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in mechanical design, product development, or manufacturing engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS, or similar.
- Strong understanding of material science, manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, casting, welding), and GD&T.
- Experience with project management, design validation, and compliance with industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits, testing, or client engagements.
