Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, and Microsoft Azure technologies to join our data engineering team supporting financial product development. The ideal candidate will have solid backend development experience, a strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, and related technologies.

  • Work with Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and other Azure cloud components to enable efficient data integration and transformation processes.

  • Apply object-oriented design (OOAD) and SOLID principles in the development of backend components.

  • Analyze complex user stories and convert them into detailed technical designs and implementation plans.

  • Perform end-to-end development including unit testing, integration testing, and support for UAT and production deployments.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver timely and high-quality solutions.

  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing data processes.

  • Contribute to the configuration management and CI/CD pipelines for deployment.


Must-Have Skills:

  • 8–10 years of backend development experience.

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and SnowSQL.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.

  • Experience working with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and general Azure development.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience with Agile SDLC processes.


Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting (Reg Reporting) requirements.

  • Experience with PL/SQL.

  • Familiarity with data security and compliance practices in financial services.
