Restaurant Captain

Job Description

We are hiring a Restaurant Captain to supervise daily service operations and ensure a smooth and professional guest experience at our café and lounge in Meerut.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the service team and ensure daily operations run smoothly.
• Welcome guests and assist with seating arrangements.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service.
• Guide guests with menu recommendations and maintain updated product knowledge.
• Ensure tables are prepared, clean, and properly set before service.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar teams for seamless service delivery.
• Assist with billing, payment processes, and table management.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.
• Train and support service staff in maintaining service standards and hygiene.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene guidelines.

Requirements

• Experience as a Captain or Senior Steward in a restaurant, café, lounge, or bar.
• Strong communication and team supervision skills.
• Presentable appearance with a professional attitude.
• Ability to work in rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Hotel Management diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
