Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SEO Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between the Project Manager and the SEO team, ensuring smooth execution of projects, effective client communication, and delivery of measurable results. The SEO Team Lead will be responsible for guiding the team, managing client expectations, and driving strategies that enhance organic visibility and traffic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main link between the Project Manager and the SEO team, ensuring clear communication and task execution.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide the SEO team in delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor effective SEO strategies to improve organic rankings, traffic, and conversions.
  • Perform in-depth Technical SEO audits and recommend actionable improvements for websites.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (content, design, development) to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
  • Handle client coordination, including regular updates, strategy presentations, and performance reporting.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, tools, and algorithm updates to ensure strategies remain effective.
  • Track, analyze, and report SEO performance metrics to stakeholders and clients.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in SEO with strong expertise in Technical SEO.
  • At least 1 year of experience leading or mentoring a team.
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under deadlines.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive insights.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
  • Experience in handling SEO for international clients and large-scale websites.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana).
