Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native apps using Azure services.
  • Develop and deploy serverless compute solutions using Azure Function Apps to support backend processing and integrations.
  • Work with Azure App Services, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, and other platform services.
  • Contribute to the technical migration of APIs from the MuleSoft platform to Azure API Management, ensuring functional parity, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate closely with the API Architect on API design, providing valuable technical input and feedback throughout the design and development lifecycle.
  • Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable APIs using C# and the .NET Framework, translating architectural designs into high-quality, e?? icient code.
  • Implement, configure, and manage APIs within the Azure API Management (APIM) platform, including setting up policies for security, rate limiting, caching, and request/response transformation.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of APIs and backend services, leveraging caching mechanisms like Azure Cache for Redis.
  • Utilize the Azure Portal and Azure CLI for resource management, deployment, and configuration.
  • Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor and Application Insights to ensure API reliability.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and other team members to refine requirements and define API contracts (e.g., OpenAPI /Swagger).
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation for the implemented solutions.Participate in an Agile development environment, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
