We are scouting for a Senior Engineer (Development) - Common Services for a Global IT Consulting service based organization

Role : Senior Engineer (Development) - Common Services

Experience : 8-12 years

Work Model : Hybrid

Role Purpose

As a Senior Engineer (Development) Common Services, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable and reusable REST APIs that serve as foundational building blocks across multiple systems. You will also be instrumental in integrating cloud-native services using AWS Lambda, ensuring robust performance, maintainability, and alignment with architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure, high-performance REST APIs using .NET Core, in alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • Develop and deploy AWS Lambda functions to support serverless computing needs.
  • Work closely with multiple domain teams to align on common API standards and reusable service components.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to define and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous integration to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and team best practices.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong expertise in C# and .NET Core development
  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs with JSON
  • Proficient in AWS Lambda and related AWS services
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
  • Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment best practices
  • Strong debugging, optimization, and performance tuning skills
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum development environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer Associate)
  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Exposure to security best practices for API development
  • Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
