**Job Description: Associate – Venture Capital (Front-End / Mid-Office)**
**About the Role**

We are seeking a motivated **Associate** to join our venture capital team. While the role is positioned as part of the **front-end investment team**, the day-to-day responsibilities will heavily involve **mid-office activities**—supporting the investment process through research, analysis, due diligence coordination, portfolio monitoring, and internal reporting. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build strong exposure to venture investing while leveraging a strong foundation in operations, analytics, and stakeholder management.


**Key Responsibilities**

**Investment Support (Front-End Exposure):**

* Assist in evaluating new investment opportunities by preparing briefing notes, market maps, and preliminary financial analyses.

* Support deal teams during due diligence by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

* Maintain and update the deal pipeline database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.

**Mid-Office & Process Management:**

* Build and maintain financial models, valuation benchmarks, and market data repositories.

* Prepare investment committee materials, including presentations, memos, and financial summaries.

* Coordinate compliance, legal documentation, and reporting requirements with legal and finance teams.

* Monitor portfolio company performance and support in preparation of quarterly/annual portfolio reports.

* Work closely with fund operations, finance, and compliance teams to streamline workflows and ensure smooth execution of deals.

**Research & Insights:**

* Conduct sector research and build industry landscapes to identify emerging trends and investment themes.

* Track competitive VC activity, funding rounds, and ecosystem developments.


**Key Skills & Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred).

* 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, VC/PE, or mid-/back-office roles in financial institutions.

* Strong financial modeling, Excel, and presentation (PPT) skills.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
