Principal Architect – Healthcare/Life SciencesLocation: BangaloreExperience: yearsJob Summary:We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Principal Architect with deep expertise in Healthcare and Life Sciences domains. This role demands leadership in technology evaluation, architecture, and pre-sales support. The ideal candidate will bring a rich blend of consulting, solutioning, and technical design experience to drive large-scale digital transformations.
Key Responsibilities:Lead technology strategy, architecture design, and pre-sales engagements for Healthcare/Life Sciences customers. Collaborate with sales, delivery, and product teams to craft winning proposals, presentations, and solutions. Drive technical discussions and workshops with customers, aligning technology decisions with business goals.
Architect scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performing solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. Design and recommend architectural patterns for High Availability, Scalability, Disaster Recovery, and Security.
Act as a thought leader, staying ahead of technological advancements and trends, particularly in healthcare-specific innovations. Evaluate legacy systems and design modernization roadmaps leveraging cloud-native and open-source technologies. Provide leadership in DevOps practices, API-driven architectures, Microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.
Engage in technical due diligence, solution blueprints, and proof-of-concept development. Advocate best practices for software development, including reusable, testable, and maintainable system design. Lead and mentor technical teams, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and delivery excellence.
Required Skills and Experience:15+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in architecture, pre-sales, and technology consulting roles. Strong expertise in technical capability presentations, pre-sales support, proposal creation, and customer engagement. Proven experience architecting solutions with high standards for scalability, performance, and security.
Deep hands-on experience with:Microsoft and/or Open Source technology stacks. Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP (Cloud-native services and deployment patterns).
API architecture, Microservices, Orchestration, Messaging systems, CI/CD DevOps pipelines. Relational and NoSQL databases, Search Engines. Knowledge of Data Platforms, Analytics Solutions, and ZeroCode/LowCode automation platforms.
Exposure and understanding of AI/ML concepts, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, and Neural Networks. Strong consulting experience, excellent communication, strategic planning, and customer interfacing skills. Experience working in regulated industries, such as healthcare or life sciences, is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS Certified Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Architect). Knowledge of healthcare standards and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, GDPR, etc.). Thought leadership contributions (whitepapers, blogs, conference speaking engagements).
