Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Firmware Engineer located in Hyderabad. The Lead Firmware Engineer will be responsible for leading firmware development activities, including designing, coding, testing, and debugging firmware. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define firmware specifications, ensure firmware integration with hardware, and participate in system validation and verification. The role also involves documenting firmware designs and providing technical support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in firmware development, coding, and debugging
  • Experience in designing embedded systems and microcontroller programming
  • Proficiency in system validation and integration with hardware
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and define specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Experience in the fire suppression or safety controls industry is a plus
